The advantages of Prefab home

Overview of prefabricated homes

The basic principle of prefabricated homes, whereby a home is fabricated in one location and then delivered to another, has been around for at least a few hundred years.

The most widely cited benefit of prefab is economy of scale, as components or entire homes can be produced in large quantities. But this is not a prerequisite for success. There’ value in faster project schedules, fewer weather delays, and more efficient use of materials thanks to optimization and quality control. One of the primary benefits for the buyer is predictability: Predefined design details and construction processes give the client a degree of surety about the outcome that is often absent in custom projects.

1

Short construction period

  • Standard construction period : 66 days (in Japan, average buil-up area is 140m2)
  • Modules are produced off site while foundation is being laid on site
  • Completed modules are transported to site and assembled (Easy Erection)
  • Minimization of manpower on site

2

High Quality

  • Quality controlled under factory conditions (Uniform and Precision)
  • Technology based on the result of over 1.5 million completed units
  • Using steel for the beam, column and wall frame

3

Energy-saving and ECO-friendly

  • Insulation cut off the outside temperature
  • Less wastage - Lower risk of damage to raw materials and reduced theft of materials on site
  • Sustainable material (steel)
  • HEMS: Home Energy Management System

1st Prototype House in Malaysia

Smart House Technology
HEMS (Home Energy Management System) enables more effective energy consumption in the house.
It aims to reduce carbon dioxide emission, and promotes energy savings in the house.

Green Technology
Hybrid heat exhaust system is a technology that combines traditional Japanese open house structure and highly airtight, thermal insulation house of today.

Friendly Design
Prevents fingers getting trapped in door gaps. Due to the roundshaped door, the gap between the frame is small and it prevents fingers from being trapped in the door.

Industrialized System
A prefabricated bathroom is far superior than a traditional bathroom.
Besides effectively preventing water leakage problems, it also takes a shorter period for construction.
