As the population ages and fewer babies are born, universal design has emerged with "Barrier free" (accessibility for the physically disadvantaged) and becoming common. It is an approach to the design of products to be usable by as many people as possible regardless of age, ability or situation.

Four elements for friendly-design

"Equitable use," "Flexibility in use," "Simple and intuitive" are three principals of universal design. Adding "beauty" on top of these, we suggest "friendly-design" for an even better solution. We conduct a variety of research from the viewpoint of human engineering and surveys regardless of age so we to discover all possible needs in everyday life in order to develop techniques for a better lifestyle for everybody.
